If you like me find yourself with coconut flour that needs using up these Coconut Flour Bliss Balls are the perfect recipe for you. Wholesome and really tasty, perfect for a mid afternoon snack or if you’re craving something sweet.
I’ve made them couple of times last week. First when a friend was visiting and I needed something quick to prepare to go with tea. And because they were so yummy I’ve decided to make them again for my blog.
The bliss balls are made with a simple mix of coconut flour, ground almonds (almond flour if you prefer), cacao butter and little sweetener. If you don’t have cacao butter then coconut oil will work here too. I’ve made three different variations of these bliss balls. One plain coconut, one with raw cacao and one with beetroot powder. I absolutely loved the ones with the beetroot powder.
You can use the basic coconut recipe and add any other flavors or fruit and veggie powders of your choice.
Just so simple, quick and look beautiful too for a little treat.
Hope you love them :)

I have your cardamom, buckwheat and almond cookies ready to bake tonite (it’s very warm here) and love that you use minimal sweeteners in your baking. I do too but being a novice, am not always successful! I would love to know which beet powder you used in these bliss balls, as the one I buy in the states is very muddy looking.
Your creations are gorgeous and I can’t wait to try some, I am joining your email list! Thank you!

Hi Michele, thank you for your lovely message. I buy beetroot powder from a company called Buy Wholefoods Online, but they are based in the UK. So you might have to try different brands to find the one you love. I love to use it in my breakfast muesli too these days. It also works really well to colour frostings. So lovely to have you join my list :)

Thank you for this! I have so much coconut flour to use up, this is perfect. Simple and fuss-free. Love that you don’t use packaged gluten free flour mix, and no xantham gum too. Look forward to all your creations :)

These are really good! My mixture was a little crumbly and I was worried the balls would disintegrate when you bite into them, but they held together perfectly after a rest in the fridge. The texture reminds me of cookie dough-fudge, so yummy :) thanks for this great recipe; now I have a way to use up my coconut flour.
